More information pouring in about the butchered body found in the middle of the stadium adjacent to the New West Secondary School. The body has been identified as that of a local resident “Peter” (last name not disclosed). As there was no rain this morning, Peter had gone to the stadium at around 3 am for a run. His butchered body was found by the School security at around 9 am and 911 was called to the scene.
An inspection of the CCTV revealed that around 3:15 am, hands (human hands) sprouted from the ground, on the path that Peter was jogging. Right after that, the CCTV went blank, raising the question, if this was even done by a human. Peter’s body was pulled apart into two, which is not humanly possible.
Who could be behind this heinous crime? Could it be something supernatural? This question has been raised, as everyone is aware that this school has been built on a burial ground. Once the new School was built in the year 2019, the old school was demolished and the stadium built to replace it. The security claims that he has sometimes seen mysterious things happening in the stadium – lights turning on automatically, static noise heard in the CCTV camera, etc. He also claimed that he has seen hands sprouting on the ground earlier, but has not mentioned to anyone for fear of being ridiculed.
Based on all these facts, could this be the curse on that land from the people buried there – the orphaned, people from asylum that were pathetically killed, early Chinese and Sikhs settlers. Are these lost souls seeking revenge for the lost humanity? We need to wait and see where this road goes.

Today, on the eve of a festival called “Christmas“, humanity was restored.
Earlier this century, there was a wave of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology everywhere. Smartphone was one of the earliest device that was capable of partial AI. Further exploration led to the discovery of Sophia, the first AI robot. Sophia was special as she was also given the status of a citizen in one of the Middle East countries. A number of Sophia replicas were created in the early 2020’s. These AI robots started taking over all jobs – it started off with the mundane processing ones that the humans (Home sapiens) were happy to give away).
By late 2020’s, the AI robots took on more decision-making roles. Their decisions were so precise that the Homo sapiens then, happily welcomed without realizing that these AI Robots were going to cause the near extinction of that species and the creations of the new humanoids, which were half robots. This decision of creating these humanoids was made by the few human intellectuals and the AI Robots. Once this was accomplished, robots took over the world. It is said that one of Sophia replica’s mutated and had the killer gene coded and turned rogue. This replicated and spread across a few powerful ones in the “Robioty” – as they had been preprogrammed they started hunting for humans to convert or kill.
While the Homo sapiens in general were becoming extinct, the essence and spirit of humanity, though suppressed, was unchanged in the converted humanoids. Over a couple of decades the suppressed humanity surfaced and the humanoids started searching for the original Homo sapiens. Unfortunately, that race was extinct.
Though the Homo sapiens were a species of contradictions, and in extremes – of good and bad virtues, one of the key characteristics of this species was being empathetic and emotional towards others – they had something called humanity in them. It was easier for the Humanoids to take over when this humanity started vanishing.
Some humanoids persisted their passion and searched for traces of the lost race. Today, in an astounding discovery, it was found that the original Homo sapiens still existed in the Rockies. They had been in the hiding from humanoids in the cold Rockies. Only a handful is in existence today…
During the last of the massacres, a group of Homo sapiens, had fled east from the west coast of the country, then called Canada, and hid in the gigantic Rockies. This is the original Homo sapiens just as how they were known at the end of their era. It is to be noted that this group in the West Coast were primarily inter racial. They were the most tolerant and were very kind, polite and considerate towards each other – the epitome of humanity. Probably that was the secret of their successful survival as incognito.
Unlike humanoids Homo sapiens were mortals and died a natural death. The AI world is considering options to preserve this gene pool, brimming with humanity. Clone or procreate? A debate is on…
Snippet: it is interesting to note that the very first of the mass scare of the human race happened in New West Secondary School’s stadium on a Christmas Eve, like today. Incidentally, this place is close to the Rockies, where this ancient race was found. At that time, the Homo sapiens mistook it for a supernatural phenomenon. It was later discovered that a rogue AI was the reason for that murder and later on the massacre.
Yesterday, today and tomorrow – Humanity will always triumph!
